Since 2004, Mr. Albert has focused his practice on all phases and types
of personal injury actions, both large and small. He began as defense
counsel, gaining valuable perspective and experience representing insurance
companies and defendants in auto and falldown matters.
Mr. Albert is a member of the following organizations:

- Essex County Bar Association
- Hudson County Bar Association
- U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary
Since 2007, he has focused almost exclusively on representing Plaintiff’s
in auto and falldown matters, as well as medical malpractice actions,
seeking to obtain just and fair compensation for his injured clients.
Other matters have included complex employment discrimination matters,
education law, construction defect litigation, and criminal matters.
Securing Million Dollar Settlements
Mr. Albert has acted as primary litigation counsel and second trial chair
on many large and complex injury matters, resulting in
multiple verdicts and settlements ranging from $500,000 to over $2,000,000, and first chair on multiple successful trials. Mr. Albert has handled
4 successful appeals, including the often cited, Bender v. Walgreen Eastern
Co., 399 N.J. Super. 584 (App. Div. 2008); Cited by, N.J.S.A. and Pressler,
N.J. Court Rules (2010 ed.). He has been published in the New Jersey State
Bar Association Newsletter, Dictum (Taming Depositions, Vol. 2, No. 1,
Alan K. Albert obtained his BA from the University of Pennsylvania in 1997
and his JD from Brooklyn Law School in 2003. He has been admitted to practice
in New Jersey State and Federal Courts since 2004.
